Strong roots tree service is a locally owned and operated tree service licensed, insured, and bonded in both Idaho and Washington serving the Palouse region. We have been working in the tree industry for the last 22 years and transitioned into mostly residential and small properties primarily 8 years ago. SRTS provides year round service for both residential and commercial customers. We specialize in tree removal and tree pruning.
We maintain industry standards and are consistently pursuing education in tree health, best practices, and more to best serve our customers. We have certification in Tree Aerial Rescue as safety for our climbers is of key importance. At SRTS we pride ourselves in honest trustworthy customer service and educating our customers about their trees. Meet The team
Josh and his wife Jill are the owners of SRTS. When Josh isn’t climbing trees or visiting with customers he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family and riding his dirt bike. Josh and Jill also enjoy spending time at their second home in Ethiopia where they run a nonprofit helping men, women and children.

Jeff and his wife Lori have made Idaho their home since 2016. Jeff joined the Strong Roots team in 2020 as ground crew and stump grinder. He enjoys the outdoors both at work and in his spare time.

Kraig has been with SRTS for the last 7 years, starting as a ground worker and is now a crew lead and climber. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, traveling, exercising at the gym, and shooting.

Liam started with SRTS in2024 primarily as a full time hedge trimmer for the summer. He has since become part of the ground crew and learning more about the tree side of the company. Outside of work Liam enjoys old pickups, riding his dirt bike, hunting, fishing, and exploring God’s creation.

Stacey is the bookkeeper for Strong Roots Tree Service. When she isn’t organizing receipts and totaling figures, she enjoys running her own small farm where she raises milk goats and heritage breed pigs. She loves living in North Idaho and spends much of her time outdoors, enjoying all of God’s beautiful creation.
